Synesthezik is a bullet hell where the player controls two characters at once to fight bosses whose patterns are mapped on the soundtrack.

The game is about wreaking havoc in a dark corporate future to some banger music.

My Role

I worked on this game for 6 months during my internship. I was tasked with refining and implementing its visual identity under the direction of the project lead and the narrative designer.

I produced sketches and concept art to explore ideas and to communicate the final designs to 3D artists. I also modeled one of the characters myself. Additionally, I made most of the shaders for the game, honing its graphical treatment and implementing it. I created some VFX as well. Finally, I made most of the visuals for the menus and interfaces in the game. Trying to give it a stronger identity through UI.
